What Do We Have to Offer?

Our Classes & Workshops are taught by professionals who know what it's like to try and break into the acting game. You'll learn great auditioning tips, improvisation skills, how to work on your stage presence, and techniques to get you more comfortable in front of the camera.

Our classes are designed for students with little or no previous filmmaking, acting, or animation experience. They are intensive, fun and fully immerse students in the craft of writing, directing, casting, shooting, acting in, and editing their own films.

Students will benefit from the extraordinary education offered at Star Power Studios. Specially designed for individuals who want to explore film and video arts or performance for the screen and stage.

Curriculum

This a 1 hr per week class, geared toward young actors who would like to pursue a career in the Film & Television industry. This class is designed for young actors who are serious about their acting career.

Young actors will:

Find passion and fun in the audition process
Cultivate their most compelling characteristics
Give casting directors and producers the confidence to hire them
Learn to give perfect, authentic auditions
every time

This class will cover:

• Cold reading technique • Scene study • Improvisation • Character development
• Breaking down scripts • Vocal training • Monologues and a lot more...

Successful Career in Acting

In addition to honing acting & auditioning technique, young actors will learn practical skills on how to launch and maintain a successful career and learn how to become a professional working actor. The classes provide an environment where students feel safe enough to come out of their shells, play, imagine and take risks.

Sessions in audition skills, monologues, cold-readings, on camera technique
Sessions in all genres of acting: film, sitcom, prime time tv, soap opera,
stand-up, improve and commercials
Business of Acting
One-on-one mock interviews
Guest speakers and panel discussions
Photographer head shot evaluation and advice
Personal counselling and strategy session with Star Power Consultant
Final on-camera showcase performance
