This is a welcome back message!

Hi everyone and welcome back to Star Power Studios Musical Theatre group for 2011.

This year we are doing GREASE the musical and we look forward to seeing you all again. In addition to our amazing cast from ‘Alice In Wonderland’ we have lots of new talented kids coming in to the group that went through the audition process like you did last year. The good news is all our cast from 2010 does not have to re audition. You’re in! And we can’t wait to get started.

This year we had  approximately 200 applications so you are very lucky to be a part of what is going to be a fantastic group. We have 45 children for Grease in total that range in age and skills so that we could have the right blend for 2011.

In term 1 we will be developing the children in all areas of singing, acting and dancing so that we can cast everyone for the role which best suits them by the end of the first term. It will such a fun show to do and the process will be a highly rewarding one. We will be doing the show in November this year though show dates are yet to be confirmed.

Commencement Date: 2^nd February 2011

Time: 4.30pm to 7.30 (weekly excluding school holidays)

What to bring: Comfortable clothing and footwear as well as a drink and healthy snacks. A canteen is available with lollies, snacks and drinks. We will have a break during our rehearsals for kids to eat and buy from the canteen if they choose to.
